Pho Sunrise - Kitchener: A Taste of Vietnamese Delight

Wonderful experience! The staff were very friendly and attentive. They kept checking in on us and gave their input when we asked for recommendations! The food came out very fast and the prices were pretty affordable! There was a lot of seating and the place was very well kept. I would definitely come back again! I really loved their bun bo hue!

Foods are good but their service is not good. If you go there with a group of people, they will pay you more attention. But if you go there alone, they don't pay much attention to you, make you wait longer. Behaviour of young staffs are more amicable, but there's a old lady who is kinda angry bird. The way she talks & takes bill from you, it seems you stole something from her! Weird vibe! May be she had a bad day or something was going on in her personal life! She should behave nicely with all customers. Other than that, the atmosphere & location is great. Neat & clean.

Got seated quickly, within a minute we had tea and water on our table. Their tea is very fragrant and has a nice taste. Fried Cheese and crab wontons and grilled vermicelli rolls were awesome. The pho was large and delicious. Will definitely come back again. 2024 Edit - I had to come back and say that 6 years and many many meals later this place still impresses with service, quality and price. Never a bad meal and won't break the wallet.

We ordered takeout for dinner and overall, it was a good meal with great value for your money. The Thai Style Tom Yum Soup was stuffed full of veggies and in our case, tofu. It wasn't as tangy as I prefer and have had at other places, but it was still very good. The Singapore Style Stir Fried Vermicelli could have used a bit more seasoning. However, there were plenty of fresh vegetables, which were cooked just right, along with moist and tender chicken slices. The Thai Red Curry was probably my least favourite of the dishes I ordered. The beef was tender and plentiful and the potatoes were cooked well - still firm and didn't disintegrate. It's unfortunate that the sauce was a little bland. The dish wasn't bad and we finished it, but I would likely not order this one again and get my Thai curries at a Thai restaurant. The Grilled Chicken on Vermicelli was the standout for me. The rice noodles were perfect, the meat was tender, and the sweet sauce provided a nice balance, with the fresh sprouts and carrots adding nice crunch to the dish. I'd happily order from here again and look forward to exploring the menu further.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for dinner last Saturday, we were so impressed. Not only was the food delicious, the service was outstanding. Our whole meal came within 10 minutes, the staff were so polite and tentative. Overall, amazing food and the best service I’ve had in a long time!

Pho Sunrise is hands down one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to! Their well-done beef pho is absolutely amazing—the broth is rich and flavorful, and the beef is tender and perfectly cooked. The portions are generous, and everything is served hot and fresh, just the way pho should be. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, even during busy times, which makes the dining experience even better. The cozy atmosphere is perfect for enjoying a comforting bowl of soup. If you’re craving authentic and delicious pho, this is the place to go. Highly recommend Pho Sunrise to everyone!

Saturday aft and it was packed but didn't have to wait. Service was top notch. They are friendly and keep coming to ask if you need something, if you like thr food. It was pretty fast too. Ordered mango salad with shrimps, minced shrimp on sugar cane, beef bermicelli and a thai coconut soup with chicken. Everything was delicious. Loved the soup specially. The minced shrimp was the only thing we didn't care for. We ordered more of the free tea and they happily brought more!

Great food, served piping hot. The restaurant is bright and clean and tastefully decorated. We were invited to choose our seat (booth by the window), and immediately were given a pot of green tea while we perused the menu. The server does not approach you - you write down the order numbers for the dishes you want, and someone comes to collect your order slip when you’re finished. The restaurant was quiet at the time we went (I think mostly doing take-out orders) and we received our food quickly. The staff does not hover about or check in with you as in western restaurants, but very friendly and what we needed arrived promptly. No bill to the table; you pay at the cash register. Have eaten there twice now, and am eager to explore more of the menu. I had tofu with mixed vegetables this time, my husband had tofu with eggplant, and we split a mango salad. Everything was delicious.
